Writing Workshop - Who's Got the Camera?
National Award-Winning Author and Editor Shauna Dansie Packer will conduct this workshop.
Point of view and voice are writing essentials necessary to ground readers and provide them with a memorable, impactful experience. Both techniques are key factors to consider when crafting either fiction or non-fiction. In Who’s got the Camera, Shauna Packer will explore different point of view types, strategies, and how to avoid the dizzying “head jumping” when juggling POV characters. In addition, she will explain the unique writing gift you have to share: your personal voice. Most well-known writers have highly distinct and recognizable voices. Shauna will facilitate the discovery of the characteristics of your individual writing voice as well as help you hone and clarify what you bring to the page from word one. Bring your preferred writing implements for this hands-on workshop.
