Multi-Author Christmas Panel (Children's and YA)
Nationally published Southern Utah authors Ellie Terry, Elaine Vickers, and Rosalyn Eves join to discuss children's literature and throw out suggestions for perfect Christmas reads for children, tweens, and teens.
Ellie Terry writes heartfelt contemporary fiction for middle-grade readers. Her middle-grade debut, a verse novel titled Forget Me Not, which you'll find on our shelves, was published March 14, 2017 by Feiwel & Friends, an imprint of Macmillan. She lives in southern Utah with her husband, three kids, two zebra finches, and a Russian tortoise.
Elaine Vickers is a middle grade author of Like Magic and Paper Chains, both published by HarperCollins and available on our shelves. She grew up in a family of teachers, so it's no surprise that she became one herself, teaching college chemistry and writing (and reading!) whenever she can. She always wanted to be a writer and a teacher, except when she wanted to be an architect, an artist, a pediatrician, a judge, or a famous actress. She lives in southern Utah with her husband and three kids.
Rosalyn Eves grew up in the Rocky Mountains. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys spending time with her chemistry professor husband and three children, watching British period pieces, or hiking through the splendid landscape of southern Utah, where she lives. She dislikes housework on principle. She has a PhD in English from Penn State, which means she also endeavors to inspire college students with a love for the English language. Sometimes it even works. Her first two books from her YA historical fantasy trilogy - Blood Rose Rebellion and Lost Crow Conspiracy are on our store shelves now from Knopf/Random House. You can pre-order the third, Winter War Awakening, below.
